Yo soy Betty, la fea, is a popular telenovela brought to us by Colombia.It has been so successful that a dozen versions of it have been shown and made in other countries including the US with its title as Ugly Betty. What makes it special is the story revolves around an unattractive person that is just so contrast in most soap operas where the stars are always good looking.
This Year, ABS-CBN acquired the rights for a remake entitling it as 'I ♥ Betty La Fea' which will be starred by Bea Alonzo.
